Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

There’s only one Creator above who made all the things and living organisms on Earth. He created human beings, animals, plants and many other species. Blessed and gifted are the human beings for we were given that high standard of thinking ability which was not given to the other creations. He also created us equally so as we continue and go on with this journey of life, we all have equal rights and equal opportunities whether rich or poor, man or woman, thin or fat, young or old, immature or mature and even the unborn.

Nowadays, discrimination in our society is always taking place. The people with more power are on top stepping on the poor people below them. Even justice is not given equally and fairly when it comes to money. Many are being foolish because of it. The leaders who were promoted and had been chosen by people in our country and making the rules to be followed are also the ones who are breaking it first. But we can do nothing because money is so powerful. It can buy many things even the life of every person.

We must be thankful that God has given us this life. All He wants us to do is to do good things, love our neighbor as we love ourselves and finally, to treat each other equally. In the eyes of our Almighty God, we are all His sons and daughters and we are all in the same line. Nobody should be on top and at the bottom. We are all at the middle. We don’t own our lives and we do not have the right to discriminate or to treat others differently. We were created by one God and He has the power to tell us what to do and we are obliged to do it. It’s our way to show love and respect for Him.

Let's Make Some Changes

Each one of us can make a move to make a change. We all have the ability to improve and to make a progressive environment only if we know what we’re doing and what is actually happening to our surroundings.

As a student, as a part of our school organizations, I can merely be a leader. A leader not only in words but also a leader in action who can encourage and motivate others to join, cooperate and be with the things that will surely give high or great impact of goodness to our modernized society.

One of the main problems today is focused on technology. Why? It’s because people have already forgotten their responsibilities. They became lazy because they are too much depending to it. As a result, pollution occurs.

People are gifted with a high standard of thinking ability so we must use this in the most proper and best way and it is to make an organized, successful and progressive society. But we must bear in mind that it is not easy to accomplish. We need companion. We need a friend. We need them to produce the kind of society that we want to have.

Leadership is my first step to make a change, to make a difference. And I need you to hold my hand so that in times of depression, I will never surrender.

Climate Change

As time goes by, we can easily observe that there is a change in our climate and it’s because of human beings, the wrong and disastrous doings of people.

We all know that climate change affects more than just a change in the weather, it refers to seasonal changes over a long period of time. These climate patterns play a fundamental role in shaping natural ecosystems and the human economies and cultures that depend on them.

Because so many systems are tied to climate, a change in climate can affect many related aspects of where and how people, plants and animals live, such as food production, availability and use of water, and health risks.

Some short-term climate variation is normal, but longer-term trends now indicate a changing climate. A year or two of an extreme change in temperature or other condition doesn’t mean a climate change trend has been erased.

Worldwide, people are paying serious attention to climate change. In Washington, climate change is already disrupting our environment, economy and communities. We can help slow it down but we must take action now.
